June 20-24th
It's amazing how quickly this year has gone by! Our last full week will be a busy one...
- Please remember to check the list we made in your agendas on Friday to make sure you have everything for our trip!
- In the event of rain, please stay tuned to Ocean 100 tomorrow morning to see if our trip is postponed until Tuesday. I will also have the announcement on here. If we happen to go on Tuesday, we will not be participating in the soccer jamboree at Parkside.
- Letters were sent home last week with students who were accepted into the band program. For those students who are planning to go to band camp this summer, money and registration forms can be mailed or dropped off to S.I.S.
- A reminder that the grade 6 closing is this Friday, June 24th at 1:15pm. I look forward to seeing you there!
Finally, I just want to thank you for all your support this year. I've been very lucky to work with such a great group of students and parents. Have a wonderful summer!

June 13-17
The countdown is on! We have a fun two weeks ahead of us!
- One week from tomorrow we'll be heading to Magic Mountain! Your child brought home a letter last week with all the necessary information for our trip. Permission forms will go home this week. Students should bring in their $8.00 for the trip prior to Thursday. We'll pre-order our supper at Montana's this week. Rain date will be Tuesday, June 21st. Fingers crossed for great weather! :)
- On Tuesday we'll be having our final grade 6 dance of the year. It will be a Hawaiian theme- so come dressed accordingly! The dance will be from 3:00-4:00. Permission forms for this were sent home on Friday.
- We'll be finishing off our math unit this week and will have a short quiz on Friday. Review sheets will be sent home on Wednesday.
- This week, we'll be having our last spelling test of the year.
- For those students in after school soccer... a reminder that my team (team 2) does not have a game this week. Next time we play will be the soccer jamboree on Tuesday, June 21st at Parkside. Information on the jamboree will be sent home this week.

June 6-10th
I hope you had a great weekend! Here's a few reminders for the week:
- For anyone interested in ordering school pictures- please make sure money is returned to school tomorrow (Monday).
- S.I.S. band testing will be taking place on Tuesday (11am) for those students interested in being in band next year.
- Information will be sent home this week regarding our end of the year trip to Magic Mountain.
- We'll be having our final ice cream sandwich sale this week... orders and money on Tuesday, ice cream sandwiches on Wednesday. We're hoping that by the end of this week we will have surpassed our fundraising goal!
- For soccer games on Wednesday... Ms.Baillie's team @ Parkside (3:30pm). Mr. Delgado's team @ Greenfield (3:45pm).
- Congratulations to everyone on the wonderful job you did in the spring concert! Awesome work! :)

May 30-June 3rd
Almost June already! The next month will be a very busy one for us!
- A reminder that we'll be going on our SIS tour on Tuesday from 9:15-10:30. Last week, students received a permission form for this trip as well as a note with some information from SIS. Please make sure your permission forms are returned tomorrow!
- Our spring concert will be held on Friday at 10:00am for last names L-Z, and at 1:15pm for last names A-K.
- Next Tuesday (June 7th) will be the date for band testing for grade 6 students interested in being in band next year.
