Happy Valentine's Day!
Here's what we're up to this week....
- A reminder that our valentine's dance will be held on Tuesday from 3-4:00. Please return your permission forms and a toonie if you plan on attending. Students will receive a beverage and a snack at the dance.
- Thank you to everyone who brought in recyclables on Friday. We make weekly trips to the depot with the recyclables we collect around the school and appreciate any donations of recyclables that you may have. :)
- A reminder to students in basketball club that we will be attending Athena's basketball tournament on Thursday. Information and permission forms will go home tomorrow.
- Our school will be participating in the heritage fair this year. All grade 6 students are asked to enter a project in the fair. Students may choose to submit their "famous islander" project that they completed earlier on this year. Also, students may choose to create a new project. Topics are due February 28th. The school fair will take place in April.
- We will have a math quiz on Friday to finish up our unit on decimals. Next up, we'll be working on fractions and percent.
