I hope everyone is having a great rainy weekend!
Just a few reminders for this week...
- We'll be having our math test tomorrow (Monday) on unit 5. The best review for this test is to work on some "Show What You Know" problems in your textbook. Next, we'll be working on Geometry and Measurement.
- We'll be finishing up our grade 6 assessments on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. After we complete these assessments we will begin working on literature circles.
- Any students attending the heritage fair on Friday should have now received an information note on set up and pick up times, etc. As well, you should have a copy of the judges' evaluation rubric.
- Last week, we had Kristin Trace from the Western School Board in to talk about Internet safety. She wanted me to pass along a website to those of you who may be interested in finding out more about facebook safety. It is www.facebook.com/safety . When you get to the site click on the "parents" link.
- There is no school next Monday, May 23rd to due Victoria Day.
- A reminder that the breakfast program is looking for donations of strawberry jam, regular cheez whiz and margarine. We appreciate any donations. :)
